Christina Carminucci

Christina Carminucci is a New York City-based tap dancer and educator, named one of Dance Magazine’s “25 to Watch” in 2022. A graduate of Pace University with a BBA in Arts and Entertainment Management, she studied under Derick K. Grant and is an alumna of the Jacob’s Pillow Tap Program. Christina has performed in works by top tap artists such as Dormeshia, Derick K. Grant, and Jumaane Taylor, at venues like The Joyce Theater, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and BAM. She has also toured internationally with Christopher Erk’s Tap Factor aboard the MS Europa 2. Christina created The Solidarity Series, a live performance platform celebrating the connection between tap dance and jazz music, with works presented by the Battery Dance Festival and Chicago Human Rhythm Project. Passionate about education, she teaches at Steps on Broadway and is an adjunct professor at Marymount Manhattan College.
